The old students association of the Datus Complex Schools (Bubuashie branch) has launched its 40th anniversary celebration and homecoming.

The event which was held in Accra, brought together members of the association who are working in various sectors of the country. They took time off to fraternise and relive the old moments while back in school.The main celebration scheduled to take place from November 28-30, 2022, is themed: “Connecting to our foundation, a deserving impact.”

At the launch of the anniversary and homecoming, the President of the association and Executive Director of the Datus Complex Schools, Mr Francis Dowetin, congratulated the 1982-year group on the initiative to bring back old students together.

“I am proud of the great strides the school has made in the lives of its students; it is worth celebrating. Ayeeko to all old students for their support and commitment towards the growth of the school and the country as a whole,” he stated.

He charged old students across the country and the diaspora to come back and celebrate their alma mater and serve as role models to the current generation of students.

An old student who chaired the event, Nii Chabukwe I, advised the members of the association to network with each other to aid in the growth of their businesses.

“This is the time to hold each other’s hand and grow together in our various fields of work. Do not look down on anyone but help each other grow in our line of business,” he said.
